„IFA Bulgaria – the local branch of the International Fiscal Association (IFA), is organizing an international conference on the topics: „The BEPS Project and Enforcement of EU tax law in the member states and legal remedies in European tax law”
The conference will take place on May 18th and 19th, 2017, with the cooperation of the Law Faculty of the Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” at 272 auditorium at the Law Faculty.
The speakers are scholars and practitioners from renowned European universities, practitioners from prominent European firms, judges, representatives of the European Commission, tax officials and others.

The International Fiscal Association (IFA) was established in 1938 with its headquarters in the Netherlands. This is the only non-governmental and non-sectoral international organization dealing with fiscal matters.
Its objects are the study and advancement of international and comparative law in regard to public finance, specifically international and comparative fiscal law and the financial and economic aspects of taxation. It comprises of taxpayers, their advisers, government officials, members of the judiciary and university professors and is therefore a unique forum for discussing international fiscal questions.
The Bulgarian branch of IFA – IFA Branch Bulgaria – was established in 2012 and recognized as such by IFA in 2014, at the IFA Mumbai Annual Congress. IFA Branch Bulgaria has now more than 40 members who participate actively in the activities of IFA (both international and national).
IFA Branch Bulgaria achieves its objectives through attendance at the IFA Annual Congresses as well as through national initiatives as organising seminars, working meetings, initiation of public discussions with the tax authorities, etc.
